Moda Bake Shop Project

I've had people asking me what they can make with the Chalk Cloth that we carry...well I was searching thru the Moda Bake Shop yesterday for a quick project and came across this-Quilted Chalk Board....what a great way to use the Sherbet Pips Charm Packs we have in the store and the Chalk Cloth. I didn't make the back or the pockets yet but love it already-I think I may actually skip those or maybe even make a large pocket on the bottom.

I can envision doing this with a variety of other charm packs, make a kitchen themed one, boys room, girls room, classroom, etc. Yeah I'm excited! You can also get the supplies at the store for $12-includes 1 Sherbet Pips Charm Pack, 13x13 piece of Chalk Cloth. I also have Bella Solids and City Weekend Charm Packs if you prefer those instead.

One Yard Wonders

I was feeling crafty today so I opened up our copy of One Yard Wonders and whipped up this cute little jacket for my little girl, in less than an hour and less than a half yard!

So cute-I love it-wish I could pull it off myself :)

Quick One Yard Wonders Project

I've been trying to do more and more projects to showcase the fabrics in the store. I thumbed through the store copy of One Yard Wonders and came across the In/Out Mail pockets. Seriously this was one of the easiest projects I've ever done, it took me about 30 minutes start to finish and I love how they turned out. I'm going to use them to hold some of the magazines we have here at the Store.

Plus I think I'll make another set or two for at home. I think a set in the Riley Blake cars, trucks and bikes would look really cute in Ethan's room too(maybe with the polka dot lining)!
