So I did something incredibly stupid this morning(I really don't like the word stupid but I think it's fitting for this situation-plus there are no kids around). I am sharing this with everyone although it is extremely embarrassing in hopes that everyone else learns from my mistake....ok have I built it up enough??????
I got this brilliant idea that I could wax my own eyebrows(are you laughing yet?). So I headed to Target and bought some cute little kit that made it look so easy. Then this morning when I was getting ready for work I decided to try it out.....yeah like I said not a good idea. At first I didn't get any hair so I thought it didn't work and made the mistake or reapplying the cloth to my eyebrow and didn't really pay attention to where the tacky wax already was on the cloth and whoosh....yup I ripped off half of my eyebrow(are you crying yet because you're laughing so hard-well if not this next part will probably get you). I just stood there looking at the hair on the cloth and then without thinking tried to grab the hair and stick it back on my eyebrow...yup must have been a survival reflex :)
Well luckily I have bangs or I would've been cutting some this morning which would have turned out horribly too I'm sure. Oh yeah and then I had to pluck the other eyebrow to make them equally ridiculously small. (I feel like I have angry eyes with them like this!).
Anyways the bangs and some eyeliner helped me look presentable enough to go out. But I'm not going to lie, I've been wondering if customers have been looking at me all crazy-well if you guys weren't before...you probably will now if you come in!
So take it from me....spend the extra time to have a professional do it :)

ReplyDeleteTOO FUNNY! You actually look fine. I wouldn't know from these pics but somehow I could see you doing this. Especially trying to stick them back on. Oh My...I'm cracking up. I can so relate to this.
